About Christine Smith
It gives me great joy and satisfaction when someone feels truly heard and understood. Once that kind of understanding is established we can begin the journey of change together, based on a safe, trusting, therapeutic relationship. I offer an empathetic ear, knowledge, experience, and advanced clinical training.
My professional experience includes over 34 years of work in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry, and program facilitation. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings such as inpatient psychiatry, outpatient mental health centres, nonprofit agencies, and private practice.
